The objective of this platform was to engage the NFL's growing female fan base by launching a discovery retail box, Picked 6. Each month of the NFL season from August to January, members of the Lady Rams, the team's female Club, receive a box in the mail that contains six or more football- and/or fashion/beauty- related products. To garner organic buzz, Maria and her team partnered with an established digital correspondent to produce a monthly "unboxing" videos and tutorials that highlight the products included in the boxes and provide retailer information.
Mannino and her colleagues created and executed the program in house. Everything from the logo to placing product into the special Picked 6 boxes.
The success of Picked 6 provided additional value for sponsors and members, created new revenue streams for the team and more than doubled the membership of the Lady Rams club.
